Sea Me | June 2015
While attending the University of Oregon, I documented, cleaned, and recycled garbage along my way to, and from, campus for a weeks time. The seven day documentation constraint came from the limited time before an upcoming showcasing of local photographer’s viewpoint on the theme “Industrial Waste.” The campus exhibition inspired me to document how each piece of waste existed within my daily experience at the University.

Utilizing these photographs allowed me to build a digital library of garbage objects. These cutouts served as building blocks for me to construct a photo montage depicting an idealized version of an unideal underwater fate.
